1. About the service
Sriveyilmatrimony provides a matrimonial introduction platform that allows eligible users and their families to create profiles, search for prospective matches, view profile information, and use available contact or support services. We provide introductions and technology services only; we are not a marriage broker, guarantor, or party to any communication, meeting, engagement, or marriage between users.
2. Eligibility
You may use the service only if you have reached the legal marriageable age applicable to you, are legally capable of entering into a marriage and a binding agreement, and are seeking a lawful matrimonial alliance. A parent, guardian, relative, or authorised representative who creates or manages a profile must have the profile person's knowledge and permission and must provide accurate information.
3. Registration and account security
- Provide complete, current, and truthful personal, family, education, employment, contact, horoscope, and other profile information.
- Maintain only one genuine profile for a person unless we approve otherwise.
- Keep your password confidential and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
- Update your profile when information changes, including marital status or when you no longer wish to receive proposals.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for information submitted by you or on your behalf.
4. Profile information and photographs
You retain responsibility for the content you submit. By uploading profile details, photographs, horoscope information, or documents, you confirm that you have the right and consent to use them and grant us permission to store, reproduce, display, resize, and share them within the service as needed to operate your matrimonial profile. Do not upload another person's content without permission or any unlawful, misleading, obscene, or infringing material.
5. Appropriate use
The service is for genuine matrimonial purposes. You must not:
- impersonate another person, create a false profile, or misrepresent age, identity, income, occupation, education, marital status, health, family, or other material facts;
- harass, threaten, stalk, defame, discriminate against, exploit, or deceive another user;
- request money, promote investments, solicit business, advertise, recruit, or use profile data for marketing;
- copy, scrape, publish, sell, or misuse another user's personal information or photographs;
- upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt, bypass, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the website;
- upload or share sexual, abusive, exploitative, or illegal content, including any content involving minors.

6. User verification and personal safety
We may review profiles and request supporting information, but we do not guarantee the identity, background, intentions, statements, financial position, health, character, or compatibility of any user. Before sharing sensitive information, sending money, meeting, becoming engaged, or marrying, independently verify the other person's identity and claims. Use safe meeting arrangements, involve trusted family members, and report suspicious conduct to us. You are solely responsible for your interactions and decisions.
7. Free and paid services
Registration and certain profile or search features may be available without charge. Access to contact details and other benefits may require a paid membership or per-contact payment. The price, duration, contact limit, and benefits shown on the membership or payment page at the time of purchase form part of these terms. Plans and features may change prospectively, but changes will not reduce benefits already purchased during their stated validity except where required for safety, law, or misuse prevention.
8. Payments, activation, and refunds
Payments may be accepted through the methods displayed on our payment page, including direct bank or supported digital-payment channels. Verify the payment details with us before transferring funds and retain your receipt. Membership activation may require payment confirmation and account verification.
Any cancellation or refund eligibility will be determined by the terms communicated for the selected service, the extent to which paid benefits have already been used, and applicable law. Contact us promptly regarding duplicate payments, incorrect transfers, or technical failure. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Communications
By providing a phone number, email address, or messaging contact, you agree that we may contact you about registration, profile administration, matches, service updates, payments, safety, support, and account notices. You may ask us to stop optional promotional communications, but essential service or legal notices may still be sent while your account remains active.
10. Privacy
Our collection, use, visibility, and protection of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. Because a matrimonial profile is intended to introduce you to prospective matches, profile information and photographs may be visible to other users according to the service settings and membership access. Do not publish information you are not comfortable sharing for this purpose.
11. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may edit visibility, reject content, restrict access, suspend, or terminate an account where we reasonably believe these terms, law, safety requirements, or another person's rights have been violated. We may also act on complaints, suspected fraud, inactivity, payment issues, or requests from authorities. Serious or illegal conduct may be reported to law enforcement. You may request profile deactivation or deletion by contacting us, subject to records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting purposes.
12. Intellectual property
The website design, branding, software, text, graphics, and other service materials owned or licensed by us may not be copied, modified, distributed, or commercially exploited without written permission. These terms do not transfer ownership of your original profile content to us.
13. Service availability and third-party services
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access. Maintenance, technical problems, security incidents, or events beyond our control may affect the service. Links, payment systems, communication platforms, or services operated by third parties are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their independent actions.
14. No guarantee and limitation of liability
We do not guarantee that you will receive responses, find a compatible match, become engaged, or marry. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sriveyilmatrimony will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from user conduct, reliance on profile information, meetings, communications, unauthorised account use, or interruption of the service. Our responsibility is not excluded where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law, safety practices, or business operations. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over our place of business in Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection or other legal rights. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
